Great stuff. I love that you are an artistic type, which we need more of, and that you are out there taking it all in, digesting it, and finding the beauty in nature. Keep going!
Hey, thanks Carl! Itβs interesting doing another round of overland travel with a more artistic eye, not to mention having piano to ground my days. (Just skipped riding my bike because I was having too much fun playing outside, in fact!) I feel like Iβm appreciating it all much more this time, not as rushed, seeing more, and I dare say enjoying it more because of that. Awesome to have all these new phases of my life align at the moment. Hope your travels are going well!
Dakota and Chelsea, the neighborhood misses you! (the cats especially miss Chelea) That said it is great to live vicariously through you so keep stories coming. Wish I could be there to hear your piano! Love you guys.
Aw, we miss you all too! Chelseaβs keeping close tabs on the kitties w her camera, donβt you worry. Sadly, I donβt get to see my fav pup Louie bounce around the hood! Hope the dogs are good. Thanks for saying hi and may you all get some real snow sometime.
You continue to gain wisdom far beyond your calendar age. Sharing it truly helps others find what works for them.
You inspired me to build a van years ago. It has transported our bikes and brains far beyond anything we could have imagined at the time. We would love to host you anytime you find yourself in Idaho.
Thanks for the kind words, Craig! Glad you enjoy my writing and love that it inspired you to build out an adventure mobile. May we cross paths in Idaho sooner than later!
Love the Ralph Potts quote (so true), the new sketches in living color, and nod to me. :) Look forward to intersecting on the road somewhere! And keeping in touch in the meantime.

Tradeoffs. Oh ain't it the truth! ππ
And as you know, they can be very, very worth it!
Indeed!
Wow

Loved sharing your story. Thank you for being open to it. People are digging how big a badass you are!
Potts is so great. His latest book is chock full of travel aphorisms and wisdom, highly recommended.
Iβm having so much fun adding color to my drawings. Even more so because Iβm deliberately avoiding realism lol.
Safe travels and see you out there again sooner than later I hope!
